◆ How it works

Five steps, and only one of them is yours.

Everything after the install runs on its own. There is no admin panel, no fixture list to maintain, and no spreadsheet owner who goes on holiday in November.

  1. 01

    Install it

Add Office Rivals to your Slack workspace. It takes about a minute and needs no admin work beyond the install itself.

Free for the first 5 players. No card.
  2. 02

    Pick a channel

Run /worldcup in the channel you want the pool to live in. A dedicated channel works best — that is where results, standings and arguments end up.

    One channel per workspace.
  3. 03

    Colleagues join by being there

Everyone already in the channel is enrolled and gets a short welcome DM. Anyone who joins later is picked up automatically. Leaving the channel takes you out.

    No sign-ups, no invite links.
  4. 04

    Predictions arrive as a DM

Before each gameweek, every player gets one card per fixture: pick the result, add a scoreline if you want the bonus, lock it in. Timing follows each person's own timezone, so nobody is predicting at midnight.

    Locked on submit. No edits.
  5. 05

    The channel does the rest

Matches are scored the moment they finish. Results post during working hours and anything late arrives as one morning digest with the gameweek table, the upsets, and who called them.

Office table, department splits, Manager of the Month.

Silly Bets

Side bets your office writes itself. Will the standup run over again? How many minutes late is the all-hands? Anyone can post one, everyone answers in the channel, and whoever set it decides who was right.

Worth zero points, on purpose. Silly Bets never touch the leaderboard — they are for bragging rights and nothing else.
