Three formats, one card each

The channel sees the question. Everyone except a named subject gets a private pick card, then the result is revealed together in the channel.

What makes a good office competition?

One that costs nobody any effort to join and settles itself quickly. A Silly Bet is a single question with two or three answers, posted in the channel people are already in, answered in one tap, and revealed a day or two later. Nothing to organise, nothing to chase.

Do Silly Bets affect the leaderboard?

No, and that is deliberate. Silly Bets are worth zero points forever. They never read or write the prediction tables and never appear on any standings, so the office game stays a sports game and the side bets stay a joke.

Is there any money involved?

None. There is no stake, no entry fee, no odds and no payout anywhere in Office Rivals. Silly Bets are for bragging rights only, which is what makes them straightforward to run at work.

Can we name a colleague in a bet?

Yes, and they get a say. The person named is tagged on the public card, receives a private notice rather than a pick card, and can call the bet off. Calling it off removes the question from the channel.
