There is no ticket portal and no chatbot. Office Rivals is a small operation, which is the good news: whoever replies is the person who can fix it.
The five things people email about
If it is one of these, the answer is already here and you do not need to wait for a reply.
- Nothing arrived after installing
- The pool needs a channel. In Slack, run the competition's own command in the channel you want it in - /premierleague, /championsleague, /nfl or /f1. In Google Chat, run the setup command in Google Chat's slash-command menu in the space. Everyone already there is enrolled, and private picks begin with the next prediction window.
- The channel said nothing all weekend
- That is the product working. Office Rivals never posts to a channel on a Saturday or a Sunday - the weekend is held and revealed on Monday morning, and a weekday round gets a short update the next morning. Scoring itself is not waiting: run /premierleague standings and the table answers immediately, weekend included.
- Someone is missing from the standings
- Channel membership is the roster. If they are not in the channel they are not in the pool, and leaving the channel takes a player out. Re-joining puts them back.
- A prediction did not save
- A pick is saved only after the app confirms it. Football predictions need a scoreline; NFL and F1 cards show their own required choices. If there was no confirmation, return to the open card and try again before its deadline.
- We paid and nothing changed
- The pass attaches to the company that started checkout. If the player limit has not changed within a few minutes, email us with your Slack workspace or Google Chat space name and we will look at it directly.

- commands - run the slash commands
- users:read - use display names and timezones so DMs arrive at a sane hour
- channels:read · channels:join · groups:read · mpim:read - see who is in the pool channel and add them to the pool
What it stores, and what it never touches
Stored: your workspace name, coworkers' display names and timezones, their picks, and the tables built from them. Never read: your messages. The bot only sees taps on its own cards. Never stored: payment cards (Stripe handles checkout end to end). Never sold or shared: any of it. Tokens are encrypted at rest, and one email to hello@officerivals.com deletes your company's data, confirmed by a human.
Removing the app, and your data
Uninstalling from your workspace stops everything immediately: no more DMs, no more channel posts. If you want the workspace and its predictions deleted rather than dormant, email us and say so, and we will confirm when it is done. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
